A client I have been working with frequently in the last year is an independently run cafe, bar and eatery called Finch. Based in Worthing, Finch has been open since 2018 and has quickly topped the local Tripadvisor ranking. Being a local favourite for its modern, flexible and cosy space, it thrives on offering excellent food and coffee during the day, and a wide range of cocktails and drinks into the evening.
I had the chance to work with this exciting young business, working with their pre-existing design language and menu systems in order to adapt and edit their offering for how the business works today.
A major part of my work was making changes to the client's menus, such as altering their layouts to fit within the menu boards, adding a QR code to show their allergen information, and condensing their drinks into an easier to read format that now shows the range of milk alternatives they have on offer. I also had the opportunity to create their festive menu, using their existing design language to give a menu that stands out with its use of craft card, while fitting in with the pre-existing food and drinks menus.
